All domain names are registered thru a legal registar with the ICANN and all terms and provisions are by Federal Standards, and Statues.  All domain names are registered for the term of one year.  You must re-register your domain prior to the expiration date.  You then will have 180 days to recover said domain name with additional fee of $350.00 plus the annual registration fee.  If you fail to re-register your domain name, you risk loss.
